- At Duke University, researchers from different disciplines are using computer vision algorithms to make early diagnosis more likely, and even intend to create an app for parents to use at home.

Safe, wirelessly charged implants could replace drugs
here- Researchers at Stanford University have developed a new way to safely transfer energy to tiny medical devices implanted deep inside the human body
- Using this new technology, medical implants could run on significantly smaller batteries, shrinking down to the size of a grain of rice, and be implanted much deeper within the body.
- The power source is a small device the size of a credit card. When the electromagnetic waves that it generates move from air to the patient's skin, they refract in such a way that they are able to propagate safely and effectively through human tissue, in what the researchers call a "mid-field wireless transfer."
- The advance could lead to the development of tiny "electroceutical" devices that can be implanted near nerve bundles, heart or brain tissue and stimulate them directly when needed, treating diseases using electronics rather than drugs.

favorite resturant
The Hollywood Brown Derby Review
My favorite restaurant is the Hollywood Brown Derby in Walt Disney. This restaurant serves the most amazing gourmet food i have ever tasted. Everything is so well cooked and affordable. The Brown Derby serves food that is mostly exclusive to their restaurant. They are known for their Martini's. they also have amazing Cobb salad and lobster bisque which I greatly enjoyed. My favorite food here is their outstanding Grapefruit Cake. This cake was awesome and worth every calorie.
The history of this restaurant is surprising. The large and notorious Brown Derby originally was just a small coffee shop. Then throughout large popularity they expanded. The Hollywood Brown Derby began its licensing program in 1987 with an agreement with Walt Disney Company for this restaurant is now
Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida. This chain was originally started by Robert H. Cobb and Herbert Swanborn. The chain is continuously expanded by Girves Brown.

This is one of my favorite restaurant because the food is awesome and the scenery is beautiful. The service here was also quick and the waiters where very talkative. If this restaurant closed down i wouldnt go anywhere else. This restaurant is truly outstanding. once you have had a taste of The Brown Derby you will not look anywhere else.

Do Now: Invisibility
If I where to wear an invisible cloak for one day to perform a good deed and become the unknown and unrecognized hero I would do a tone of good things. I would rob a bank and give it to the poor. This is almost like Robin Hood but better. I would rescue abused animals and find a better home for them. I would free all the animals in the zoo.
I would also find any gourmet food places and give their food away to the hungry. I would go to the apple store and make sure everyone has a phone. I would help the Police find criminals. I would give expensive clothing to the needy. Finally i would have a huge party so everyone could relax and have fun everyday for free.

Educational Technology and Copyright Law
I can't believe all the copyright laws out there. There are laws out there that i didn't even know about. Copyright basically protects the original author of all types of work, objects and music. Copyright is a good thing as long as it is used correctly. Many people unknowingly go against these laws and unfortunately have to pay the price.

my favorite class
My favorite class in this school is history. I loved learning about the different things that happened in the world. In the beginning of the year I din't expect to learn anything more than I already know. History was really not something that interested me. Her grading policy is pretty fair and she keeps the class motivated. We use technology because we do a lot of projects and reports.
I loved learning about numerous things. I liked learning about gender rolls and fashion in the 50's. I loved learning about the 60's and Woodstock. The music in the 60's and late 70's had to be the greatest of all time. Just listening to Jimmy Hendricks and other amazing bands really got my attention.
I also loved learning about how women became independent and rebellious. Women really didn't have any say until Women's Liberation Movements came around. Women broke out of there shell and where not afraid to be themselves anymore. They embraced there individuality and became free. That is why I enjoy history class the most.
