ROBOTIC ARM

  • This arm was created by Georgia Institute of Technology's Gil Weinberg.
  • This arm was created for Jason Barnes he was cleaning up his vent hood at a restaurant  and he got electrocuted.  
  • His arm had to be amputated and he was devastated.  
  • electromyography sensors, one stick on the arm picks up muscle movement, and acts how Barnes wants it to. The other stick is works alone using a mic and accelerometer, it listens to what Barnes is playing, then plays a beat in a jazzy style.
